Each Fitness Trails system is built of environmentally friendly recycled plastic.

All systems have vandal resistant polycarbonate signs, rust resistant hardware (galvanised steel or stainless steel) and importantly are practically maintenance free.

External Hardware

It is hot dipped galvanised steel tube (may be powder coated) or stainless steel.

Fastenings

There are no nails, screws or surface penetrations on benches in the timber systems or in the recycled plastic systems.

Signage

All signs are made from vandal resistant poly-carbonate.

The fitness trails are made of virtually indestructible plastic manufactured to the highest standards in the USA and Europe.

Graphics are reverse silk-screened onto the plastic panel using epoxy bond ink to ensure a long life.

RECYCLED PLASTIC

All Fitness Trails systems are manufactured using recycled industrial and post consumer waste plastic.

The plastic is processed and the product’s appearance is good and has internal integrity.

There are no known pollution or health problems associated with the use of recycled plastic.

The recycled plastic systems will not crack or check, splinter, rot and they are impervious to insects.

They are colour fast and do not need painting.

Spray paint and markers may be removed by using appropriate cleaners.

The life expectancy under normal use is in excess of 30 years.

TIMBER

An option is to manufacture the systems from premium Australian hardwood - Tallowwood.

All wood is completely finished on four sides and edges are bevelled and finished with a beautiful varnish for appearance and safety.

Within 2 to 3 years Tallowwood weathers and blends naturally into the landscape.

Tallowwood is used extensively for outdoor community furniture and fixtures because of its structural and aesthetic properties.
